The Training Company – Business and Learning Environment
During the training company year, students are expected to actively apply and expand the professional, social, and methodological skills they have already acquired. The training company serves both as a business and a learning environment, allowing students to apply these skills in practice. The focus is on connecting and applying previously learned content, so business processes and operations can be carried out in the training company as realistically as possible.
The concept of working in the training company is based on the P-D-C-A cycle. This cycle is applied both in the business context and the learning environment. Students are encouraged to reflect on and strengthen their competencies. It begins with planning (P = Plan), followed by action (D = Do), meaning the direct work in the company. The check (C) phase allows for evaluation of business activities and personal performance as employees. Based on personal reflection or guidance from the teacher, new actions are developed and applied in the next step, Act (A).
The teacher acts as a managing director, guiding processes, setting strategic goals, and providing support when goals deviate. Additionally, the teacher serves as a coach for professional or social issues.
Our Strategic Goals and Annual Focus
The strategic goals for the school year 2025/26 are to reposition the training company as a sustainable partner in the automotive sector after a multi-year pause. Sustainability will remain a central focus.
Another goal is to implement and actively apply the new services developed in recent years, such as ELDA, Act orders, and others. The use of digital media is also emphasized, including website development and the use of social media channels.
A key focus this year is to help students practice business-related skills, providing a solid foundation for their future careers.
Sustainability
We aim to offer our customers sustainable products. In the school year 2025/26, we successfully achieved this goal by obtaining the Fair@Work certification. In the future, we plan to continue expanding our sustainable product range.
Digitalization
Digitalization is a crucial foundation for future success. Business processes are regularly reviewed to leverage the various opportunities digitalization offers. Sales processes increasingly involve online meetings or trade fairs via Teams. Internal and external communication is facilitated through different tools to streamline workflows.
